The 2009 Vectrix VX-1 has beauty as well as performance

We have done quite a few blog posts about this electric scooter before, however CNN has rated this as one of the 8 best electric scooters, so we are following up. Actually, we reported on the Vectrix in 2007, now we are looking at the more advanced model the 2009 Vectrix VX-1.

Once again, the folks at Vectrix Electronics are touting this electric powered scooter as one of the most advanced models on the market today, and they would be right about that. This model has even better advancements than the 2007 model, such as the throttle. The newer advantages of the 2009 VX-1 are readily noticeable. For instance, the throttle is newer allowing you to speed up as well as slow down with just a twist of your wrist. The maximum speed of this incredible electric scooter is 62 while it carries the ability to achieve this speed in a mere 6.8 seconds.

Vectrix electronics has also added aesthetics to the e-scooter by putting a nice weather resistant flaring on the front as well as new colors and graphics. (Their latest showroom model above is called “The Green” which lends itself to environmental causes.
