Electric Bike Riding on the Interstate - Could it Become a Reality?
There is a group of people that are pushing for the legalization of allowing bicycles to ride on interstates. The group advocating this movement is called Team USA and they have a dedicated page on Facebook the social network. The group is advocating this movement for several reasons. Among these reasons are:
- The high price of gas and the amount of money alowing other forms of transportation to use the interstates.
- The advancement in technology to produce bikes that can travel safely greater distances
- The fact that electric bike, car scooter and other technologies have been stifled by the auto industry.
- Environmental issues
- Geopolitical issues will be reduced with a less dependency on oil
