Gas Prices on the Rise Again!!!!

Triple A of New England have reported that gas prices have started to rise early this year. The Prices have risen an additional $.40 so far and there is no end in sight for this summer as the price per gallon has risen to over 3.29 in most states. Dispite how we feel, Europe is faring far worse than the U.S. Here is just a partial list of gas prices in Europe and Asia per gallon:

Belgium – $6.10
Great Britain – $6.30
The Netherlands – $6.73
Germany -$5.96
France – $5.80
India – $3.71
Italy -$5.91
Australia -$3.42

Of course, here are the prices for the middle east:

Saudi Arabia: $.91
Kuwait ( The people we have been protecting in the last two wars) $.78
Venezuela $.12

I guess you can see that oil is still in plentiful supply otherwise those countries would have high prices too!

I don’t understand why the U.S. is so damn dependent on oil all of the time. While I’m at it, why do people still buy those stupid SUV’s when the don’t have to. God, i’m sick of people complaining about this stuff all of the time!

Hey, some of us can’t help paying the stupid gas prices. I work almost 2 hours away from where I live at and if the driving intom Boston all of the time wasn’t hard enough, now we have gas at almost $4.00 a Gallon. hey Elma, whay don’t you quit all of your complaining.

Awww, it’s being unfair. It’s very cheap on those 3 countries while we are struggling for the price of it. I have a neighbor who uses electric bike scooters, it has no noise actually and less pollution. Is it expensive?

Electric bikes can run you anywhere from $400-$3000 and possibly beyond that. It all depends on what you want and how much you are willing to spend, just like anything else. as far as the three countries I mentioned using electric bikes more than we do, I would say that per capita their income is far less than ours in the United States. Yes, things are cheaper there but their income is much less than what ours is. Anyway, thank you so much for your great comments.

Increase in the cost of gas is inevitable. This trend puts almost everybody to worry. It cannot be denied that some people sell their cars. It is now high time for the government to put into action the plans and programs that they have formulated for the substitution of petroleum.

Lucy, unfortunately, American politicians will always drag their feet, it has always been that way. Alexander Hamilton used to express his utter frustration and hatred about the slow moving Congress, even before the Constitution was written. So, I think it would be wise for the American people to prepare to take care of themselves. Investing time and money in an alternative electric vehicle like an electric bicycle can be a part of your personal economic survival strategy. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for the politicians to do anything except point fingers at everyone and fight amongst themselves.

That must the reason why more people decide to buy electric vehicles cause the price of gas cannot be controlled, their prices always rises from time to time.

And the gas prices continue to rise again. It seems to never end especially with wars in the Middle East breaking left and right.
